- Love is Blind wrapped its fifth season
- Netflix has put on a reunion
- HERE are some spoilers from it
During the 67-minute reunion special, it was clear that emotions still ran high for some folks, even if everyone had moved on to new romantic endeavors. Many fans online were caught asking, how could a season that was an absolute train wreck have produced a reunion so bland? There were moments this season where you would watch from behind your fingers like a horror film. But the reunion itself turned out to be quite tame.
So here's the scoop on the couples now. Lydia and Milton continue to be married, which fans can smile about. They got married in the season finale, and the geologist and petroleum engineer’s relationship survived their first year of marriage. "Yes, we are happily married," Lydia announced on camera. Apparently, marriage was so nice they did it twice: The couple shared bits of footage from their second wedding in Lydia's home, Puerto Rico.
Some other couples weren't so lucky
"I think in the past, before I met Lydia... I would typically stay at work too late. Now, 5:30 hits and I'm like, 'Hey, I gotta get home to my wife,'" Milton told hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey. "A few years ago, I could've never imagined feeling this way, being this way. It's beautiful."
Moving on, it turns out that Izzy and Stacy didn't speak for a year after their wedding! At the reunion, the pair confirmed they tried to mend things a week after the wedding but ended up not speaking for a full year. "It was a really hard week for me. Because when someone is my person, and I'm going through such a hard time... after three or four days, I miss you, I need you, where are you?" Izzy shared. "I didn't know what was happening. I didn't know if you were my fiancée, if you were my girlfriend... not knowing was really tough."
Now, they are happily in relationships with other partners. Put on the spot at the reunion about saying "no" at the altar, Stacy revealed as she choked up that "I wanted to give him a yes."
"I just asked, 'Are you even feeling this?' And she just said she didn't and she couldn't right now. I, in that moment, was shocked... I was so mad at her after that because I thought we were really gonna try," Izzy said.
What about the others?
The last time we saw Johnie and Chris, they seemed to be going strong at the cast barbecue party as they argued with Izzy and Stacy about whether Johnie was "fake."
As it turns out, that was also one of the last times the two saw each other. Chris pursued another relationship without letting Johnie know that the relationship was over.
"It doesn’t always end in fairy tale, and it just didn’t work out the way one would want," Chris says. Chris says he didn’t handle it "properly" and "knew I was wrong." Though he fell in love with Johnie and still cares for her, he’s happy now and living with a new partner.

What about Aaliyah and Uche? Aaliyah briefly dated Uche after cameras stopped rolling. Though the episode showed the exes going their separate ways at lunch after Aaliyah said she was ready for a second chance, she confirmed on Sunday's reunion that they did date for a bit after that scene.
"It ended for many reasons. I don't think I was his type, ultimately. He mentioned to a few people who were part of the cast that I wasn't the type of woman that he normally found attractive and just based off of everything that I had experienced, I didn't feel like I wanted to chase a relationship with anyone."
"His tone with me was still so mean and condescending," she added. "That's not the person I feel like I talked to in the pods." Nick then confirmed Uche was invited to the reunion but he chose not to attend...
