The second season of the American hit series Euphoria recently premiered. The star of the teen drama is Zendaya (25), who portrays the drug-addicted school girl "Rue". For this role, the actress was awarded an Emmy in 2020.
Euphoria has already been renewed for a third season. But how would it all work without the star of the show, Zendaya? That's the question HBO boss Casey Bloys faced in light of the actress' rising success.

He spoke to TVLine about Zendaya's future on Euphoria. "It’s hard to imagine doing [the] show without her, But, again, that would be something [for] her and Sam to discuss." He continued, "I’m very excited about what they’ve got planned [for Season 3]. So I will leave that to them. I will say, generally speaking, we trust where they want to take these characters. So we’ll let the creative team lead the way."

But for now, Bloys assured fans that Zendaya will be seen in the third season alongside Sydney Sweeney (24), Alexa Demie and Jacob Elordi (24).
