Niki Caro will be joining the project as executive producer and director of multiple episodes and Reese Witherspoon is also an executive producer. She apparently scored the television rights for the title before the novel was even published. Riley Keough had her big screen debut back in 2010 in the film The Runaways alongside Dakota Fanning.
