There will be a reunion of Rodgers and Hammerstein's 1997 Cinderella film for the upcoming installment of the popular film series, as Just Jared Jr reports. Therefore, 26 years after the release of the film, "King Charming" and "Cinderella" will once again be portrayed by Paolo Montalban and Brandy.
New protagonists join the familiar squad
In the story, viewers are taken to a "hostile, unincorporated area of Wonderland, a magical, mysterious place from Alice in Wonderland," Just Jared Jr. writes.
The title of the movie musical is Descendants: The Rise of Red. "Chloe", the daughter of "Cinderella" and "King Charming", and "Red", the daughter of the "Queen of Hearts", appear as the new main characters.
