"People lie, the evidence doesn't." This motto also applies to the CSI team in New York City, the second spin-off in the CSI franchise. In the Big Apple, the team including "Detective Mac Taylor" (Gary Sinise) and "Detective Stella Bonasera" (Melina Kanakaredes) investigate and put the bad guys away. The show ran from 2004 until 2013.

Gary Sinise
Gary Sinise was quite successful before he took on the role of "Mac Taylor" on CSI: NY and had already starred in the Oscar-winning film Forrest Gump and The Green Mile. While his last role on the big screen was in the 2006 film The Big Bounce, his TV career is still thriving. From 2016 until 2017, he starred in Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders and he had a main role in the fourth season of 13 Reasons Why.

Melina Kanakaredes left CSI: NY after six seasons and has since appeared in the film Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief as well as in the drama Snitch alongside Dwayne Johnson.
