Stephen Collins played the role of "Eric Camden", the righteous pastor and father of seven kids for 11 years. Before he joined the successful CBS show, he appeared on different TV shows, such as Sisters, and had some smaller roles in feature films.

Afterward, Collins appeared on shows like 'Private Practice,' 'Devious Maids' and 'Falling Skies' until he was cast as "Doctor Gene Porter" for the NBC show 'Revolution,' which ran for 2 seasons until 2014. His role on 'Revolution' is his most recent acting credit. In 2014, he admitted to sexually abusing underage girls between 1973 and 1994. Stephen Collins is twice divorced and has one child.

Catherine Hicks played "Annie Camden", the busy mother of seven for all eleven seasons of '7th Heaven,' from 1996 to 2011. Before she was cast as the pastor's wife, Catherine was already a popular actress and even won an Emmy Award in 1980 for her performance as Marilyn Monroe in 'Marilyn Monroe: The Untold Story.'

Her last role was in the TV movie 'Honeymoon From Hell' in 2016.

Mackenzie Rosman played "Ruthie", the youngest "Camden" daughter for eleven years. She got her career start at the young age of four, when she was cast for TV commercials, and in 1996 got the part on '7th Heaven.' Fun fact: She stood out by personally greeting each person in the room with a handshake at her audition for the role.

Mackenzie Rosman

"Ruthie" is now a young woman and is still working as an actress. She was featured on 'The Secret Life of an American Teenager' four a couple of episodes in 2010 and 2011, and was last seen in the short film 'Ankh'.

She needs no introduction: Jessica Biel was "Mary", the eldest daughter of the "Camden" clan for six seasons. When she was 17 years old she posed for a risqué photo shoot, which outraged the producers of '7th Heaven.' She later expressed regret for doing it, claiming she had been used by Gear magazine.

Jessica had a tremendous career on the big screen after she left '7th Heaven' and has become one of Hollywood's biggest stars. Her most notable appearances include features like 'The Illusionist,' 'Valentine's Day' and 'Hitchcock.' Since 2012, she is happily married to singer-songwriter, producer, and actor Justin Timberlake and they have two children together.

Barry Watson played "Matt Camden", the eldest son of the "Camden" family for a total of ten seasons. He was on hiatus for most of the seventh season, because of his battle against cancer, which was successful. He did not appear in the eleventh season of '7th Heaven.'
