The Cast of 'Frasier'

'Frasier' is a sitcom that ran from 1993 until 2004 for a grand total of 11 seasons on NBC. The show was actually a spin-off to the classical hit series 'Cheers', with psychiatrist "Frasier Crane" returning to his hometown of Seattle to start a new life. The show was such a success that it won over 37 Emmy awards altogether, setting a record at the time.

"Dr. Frasier Winslow Crane" is a psychologist who works at the "KACL" Radiostation in Seattle. He is divorced and has a son who lives with his mother in Boston. Grammer also worked as a voice actor for a variety of animated movies such as 'Anastasia' and 'Toy Story 2'. He has starred in several different franchises such as 'The Expendables', 'Transformers', and even the 'X-Men' franchise. He starred in the show 'Proven Innocent' in 2019 and in the 2020 movie 'The God Committee'.

"Daphne Moon" (Jane Leeves) is a physical therapist who is in charge of taking care of "Martin Crane". During the seventh season of the show, she marries "Niles Crane" (David Hyde Pierce), "Frasier's" brother.

Jane Leeves moved on to star in minor roles in shows such as 'Hercules: The Animated Series,' 'Misconceptions,' 'The Starter Wife,' and 'Desperate Housewives.' One of her bigger roles since 'Frasier' was in 'Hot In Cleveland,' where she played the role of "Joy Scroggs". She now stars as "Dr. Kitt Voss" on the hit medical drama 'The Resident.'

"Dr. Niles Crane" is "Frasier's" younger brother, who is also a psychiatrist with his own practice. He can be considered part of Seattle's Elite, which is shown throughout the show. He is unhappily married, which changes when he marries "Daphne" in the seventh season.

David Hyde Pierce concentrated more on his stage career after 'Frasier.' Since his time on the show, he's starred in several different plays including 'Spamalot,' 'A Wonderful Life,' and 'A Life.' He has been nominated for a number of Tony Awards for his performances. Pierce came out as gay in 2007 and married his partner, Brian Hangrove in October of 2008, only a few days before 'Proposition 8' was confirmed, banning same-sex marriages in California. He also had a supporting role in the final seasons of 'The Good Wife'...

After her excellent portrayal of "Roz Doyle", Peri Gilpin moved on to guest star in several different TV shows. Her most notable roles were in 'The Lionhearts,' 'Make It Or Break It' as well as a variety of TV movies such as 'Uncommon Sense,' 'Women of a Certain Age' and also in the 'Hellboy movies.' She married the realist painter Christian Vincent on July 31, 1999 and the two now live in Los Angeles and have a very close relationship with Gilpin's former co-star Jane Leeves.

"Martin Crane" is "Frasier's" and "Niles'" father and a widowed ex-cop. Due to a gunshot injury on his hip from his years on the force, he can't walk properly and therefore lives with "Frasier". His two most notable characteristics are his armrest chair and his terrier "Eddie".
