'Casper': Where Is The Cast Today?

The 1995 fantasy comedy-drama movie, Casper is still a classic today! Especially around Halloween time, many kids and families still enjoy watching this cult classic about the friendly ghost starring Christina Ricci, Devon Sawa, Bill Pullman, Brad Garrett, and Cathy Moriarty! Let's find out what the main cast of the movie is doing now, shall we?! Ricci played the role of "Kathleen Harvey". "Kathleen" is born in 1982, and is the daughter of "Dr. James Harvey" (Bill Pullmann) and the deceased "Amelia Harvey". She is a 13-year-old girl who moves to Friendship, Maine with her father, where she meets and befriends a ghost named "Casper McFadden".

Since the film, Christina has featured in numerous films and television series. She did voice work for Smurfs 2 (2013) and Alpha and Omega (2010). She also featured in Monster (2003). In February 2013, Ricci announced her engagement to James Heerdegen, whom she met while working on the series Pan Am in 2012. They married on October 26, 2013. They have a son named Freddie (born August 2014).

Bill Pullman played the role of "Dr. James Harvey". He was born on February 17th, 1957, in Washington, and is a psychiatrist and alumnus of John Hopkins University. He is the father of "Kat Harvey" and the husband of "Amelia Harvey". "Amelia's" sudden death in 1993 prompted "James" to give up his conventional career as a therapist and move onto parapsychology, which he used as an attempt to make contact with his wife (who he now believes is a ghost).

Since the film, Bill Pullman has featured in many films of which the most famous are The Equalizer films and the Independence Day films. Pullman is married to Tamara Hurwitz, a modern dancer.

Cathy Moriarty played the role of "Carrigan Crittenden". Her late father had a huge fortune, but he didn't leave any of it to her, which deeply angers her. Therefore, upon discovering that Whipstaff Manor the old mansion that he did leave to her may contain treasure, she becomes obsessed with possessing the treasure for herself. At the end of the film, she dies and becomes a ghost, but is tricked into crossing over.

Since the film, Moriarty has featured in various films and series. She was in Digging to China (1997), Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp's (2001), and The Bounty Hunter (2010). On August 28th, 1999, Moriarty and financier Joseph Gentile married on Long Island.

Devon Sawa played the role of "Casper" (the ghost was voiced by Malachi Pearson), a good and friendly ghost, who, much to the annoyance of his uncles, prefers to help people rather than scare them.

Since Casper, Sawa has featured in Endure (2010), A Resurrection (2013), Life on the Line (2015), and Escape Plan: The Extractors (2019). Sawa is married to Dawni Sahanovitch. They have two children: a son born in 2014 and a daughter born in 2016.

Garett voiced the role of "Fatso," one of the "Ghostly Trio".
