Bonanza was the hit TV Western that aired 14 seasons on NBC (1959-1973). The legendary series centered on the "Cartwrights" who lived on the Ponderosa Ranch in Nevada.
The show's original four stars were Lorne Greene, Michael Landon, Pernell Roberts, and Dan Blocker as the "Cartwrights," joined for most of the 14 seasons by Victor Sen Yung ("Hop Sing") and Ray Teal ("Sheriff Coffee"). Roberts left in season 6, and Blocker passed away before the final 14th season, while Greene and Landon stayed on for the full run.
