'Big Brother': What Are The Winners Up To Today?

Craig Phillips was the very first winner of the reality show Big Brother. After winning the grand prize, the former reality TV show contestant didn´t really know what was next. After donating his entire prize money, 70,000 pounds, to his friend´s lung and heart transplant, Phillips earned an even larger fan base. He later decided to go down to the home improvement/designer route, showcasing his talents on several different shows.  

Brian Dowling is quite the celebrity when it comes to Big Brother. After acquiring a taste of reality TV due to his first major win on the show, he decided to return to the show the following year, winning the grand prize once again! He has been seen hosting the show on and off while dabbling in other reality shows including Come Dine With Me and The Real Housewives of Cheshire. 

Kate Lawler went down to a more scandalous route, appearing in several male-oriented magazines during her years after the show. She also dabbled in other magazine spreads including a campaign featuring Ann Summers. Nowadays, she hosts her own show on Virgin Radio. 

After his run on Big Brother, Cameron Stout has been seen working as the spokesman of the "Hall of Clestrain" in the BBC series Restoration. He has also been working as a journalist for the past few years, with most of his columns appearing in widely acclaimed newspapers across the country! 

Nadia Almada was the first trans woman to win Big Brother back in 2004, and she was considered one of the fan favorites during that time! Afterwards she attempted to launch a music career and was even featured in an episode of Hollyoaks. She did end up returning to Ultimate Big Brother back in 2010, but didn´t seem to recieve as much praise, claiming 10th place during the series finale. 

After his win on the sixth installment of the show, Anthony Hutton moved on to become a hair stylist. At the same time he was doing some modeling along the way. He also ended up returning to the Ultimate Big Brother in 2010. 

Pete Bennett's win was huge at the time, but, sadly, not everybody can cope with the fame and fortune! He made public during an interview on The Jeremy Kyle Show that he had spent all of his winnings on his Ketamine addiction, leading him to return to his day job. Nowadays, he runs a cleaning business charging around 100 pounds for his services. 

Brian Belo, like many others on this list, tried and failed to start a music career. He did eventually return to the spotlight after attempting to sue the producers of TOWIE for stealing his idea. Belo did eventually agreed to a settlement with ITV. 

Rachel Rice decided to put her winnings into good use unlike many of the others on this list, paying off her student debt and donating to charity in the process. Instead of staying in the spotlight, she decided to begin teaching, she eventually became the headteacher at a school in Wales.

Sophie Reade decided to follow a more glamorous route after her win on the show Big Brother, appearing in the popular men's magazine Playboy. After the birth of her son, she has kept her fans updated posting regularly. She was last seen in the independent film Barracuda, which received remarkably good reviews during its release back in 2017.
