With a historic Golden Globe win in her back pocket for her role in The Farewell, the multi-talented Awkwafina is returning to TV with a new show. She now stars in Awkwafina is Nora from Queens, a comedy show centering on the life of an American-Asian family from New York City that is based on her own life.

In the newest clip released by Comedy Central, "Nora" (Awkwafina) is talking to her father "Wally", played by DB Wong, about NOT being ready to move out of her parents house just yet.

That does not surprise her father. According to him, "Nora" "clung on to her uterus like the Thing," as he references the day that her mother gave birth. "It was so gross, man. I threw up on the nurse."

Aside from Awkwafina, the show stars the aforementioned BD Wong as well as SNL cast member Bowen Yang, and Netflix star Natasha Lyonne.

Awkwafina is Nora from Queens premieres on January 22 at 10:30pm ET on Comedy Central.
