Arnold Schwarzenegger will test uncharted waters in a new TV series.
Deadline broke the story on Aug. 31, reporting that Schwarzenegger will star in the newly-announced spy show. It will feature the 73-year-old actor in the lead role of a father-daughter "global spy adventure" story, according to the outlet.

Schwarzenegger is also attached as an executive producer on the untitled project, which was created by Nick Santora — creator of CBS's Scorpion, and a veteran writer and producer with credits on The Sopranos, Law & Order, and Prison Break, to name just a few.
No network is attached to the Terminator star's new TV venture, but Deadline added that the series will soon be shopped to streamers. They also report that the casting process for the role of Schwarzenegger's spy daughter is underway.
Arnold Schwarzenegger: From movies to TV at age 73
Beloved by fans for his dozens of hit movies, Schwarzenegger has seldom dabbled in the world of scripted TV. On the small screen, he's hosted reality competition The New Celebrity Apprentice and appeared in documentary series Years of Living Dangerously.
But outside of the odd single-episode TV role (such as in the Two and a Half Men finale), the Kindergarten Cop actor has always opted for big-screen projects. He was last seen in 2019's Terminator: Dark Fate, and appeared in The Expendables trilogy throughout the 2010s.
It's a year of firsts for Schwarzenegger, too: He became a grandfather for the first time when daughter Katherine welcomed her first child earlier in August. The Schwarzenegger family also gathered — with Arnold's ex Maria Shriver included — for his 73rd birthday in July.
