One person who really profited from the Disney Renaissance was composer/songwriter Alan Menken. Because of the work he has done for Disney, he has more Oscars (8) than any other person still living. He is also one of only 16 EGOT winners, meaning he has won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony. All four of these awards that Menken earned have a Disney connection by the way.
Other important filmmakers who made the Renaissance possible were Roy Disney, Micheal Eisner, Frank Wells, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Howard Ashman and others.
