ABC will move ahead without its scripted series upon the launch of its fall TV line-up.

Today, the network revealed its initial schedule for Fall 2020, and the new season will get underway without ABC's line-up of scripted series—which includes Grey's Anatomy, The Goldbergs, A Million Little Things, Station 19, and The Rookie. The news comes as scripted series have yet to enter production or are behind schedule as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

ABC's Fall TV 2020: DWTSThe Bachelorette, new shows

While the absence of scripted series is disappointing for fans, some of ABC's top reality programs are still set to premiere by the end of October. Dancing with the Stars, on Sept. 14, and The Bachelorette, on Oct. 13, are ready to go for new seasons.

Likewise, Celebrity Family Feud, Match Game, AFV, and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire have early-fall premieres set. Karey Burke, President of ABC, previously said that scripted series would likely cycle into the schedule in late September and October, but there are no firm dates for ABC dramas and sitcoms at this time. Updates are expected to follow when available, according to THR.

Grey's Anatomy has yet to enter production on season 17, and will have its timeslot filled by game show Press Your Luck.
