He was able to conquer his addiction and move on to roles like "Oscar Madison" in the 2015-2017 remake of the TV classic The Odd Couple''. He was also part of the HBO Max 'Friends' reunion special 'The One Where They Got Back Together' in 2020. Unfortunately, Matthew Perry passed away in 2023.
