90 Day Fiancé's Geoffrey Proposes To Varya

Wow! Viewers were shocked by the big move on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days by Geoffrey and Varya. Most of the proposals in the history of 90DF on the show end with a 'yes' and a wedding, whether or not they are ready like Larissa & Colt, Rebecca & Zied, and Jihoon & Deavan.

When 41-year old Geoffrey Paschel proposed to 30-year old Russian Varya Malina he did not get the answer he had hoped for. She did not say yes or no, instead, Varya said "Not yet" which most fans agreed was the most reasonable response possible. The two had only just met in person for the first time days before and both still had a lot to learn about each other.

Geoffrey was furious at her response and acted rudely to her. Fans were shocked at Geoffrey's proposal and response considering he had only days before shouted at her in front of her friends accusing her of using him for a green card and then admitted to her that he had been in prison before for drugs (he failed to mention his many other arrests involving domestic violence against his many ex-wives).

90 Day Fiancé's Geoffrey and Varya's Rocky Relationship

Varya's family had advised her to leave Geoffrey because of his lying-by-omission about his criminal history but Varya decided to continue dating him. When she understandably did not accept his proposal she explained the two were moving too quickly.

She even said "You are absolutely an amazing wonderful man. Maybe we are going too quick?" and that she is "not ready to leave everything here." She says she loves him but she is unsure if she can trust him, wants to learn more about him, and that she "is not ready," which are all perfectly valid reasons to reject his absurd proposal.

Easily angered Geoffrey did not take that well and decided to dump his incredibly accepting girlfriend at the airport and imply that he was going to start dating new girls. When she said she didn't want to end the relationship he coldly said "I don't know how to make it any clearer. I'm leaving. I'm going home. I'm going to live my life apart from you," and "Thanks for the adventure" and left Varya crying at the airport.

In the preview for next week, Geoffrey is seen getting roses for a date back in the US! Does he move on that quickly? Fans are unsure of if the two are still together or not, both being slightly vague on social media but also still posting pictures of each other.
