While some members of the Royal Family are sometimes criticized for their simple, elegant, and tailored clothing choices, it is worth noting that many prominent royals, such as the late Princess Diana, Kate, the Princess of Wales, and even the late Queen herself, have worn some stunning outfits over the years. However, these outfits have sometimes received a mixed response in the court of public opinion.

Princess Diana

Many members of the Royal Family, including Princess Diana and Sarah Ferguson, have had fashion mishaps over the years. These could be due to a variety of reasons, such as patterns or cuts that may not be flattering. It is also worth noting that navigating fashion trends can be challenging, even for the royals, and this was especially true in the 80s when fashion was not easy for anyone. The younger generation of royals has also made fashion mistakes, including Kate Middleton and Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice.

Princess Beatrice

In 2011, Princess Beatrice of York attended the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton wearing an all-pink ensemble, which included an "o"-shaped ribbon headpiece. Although her headpiece generated controversy and received criticism, Beatrice handled the situation with grace and even auctioned it off for charity, raising a substantial amount of money.

Megan Markle

Most of Meghan Markle's maternity style was absolutely spot on, but this outfit stands out as one of her worst, pregnant or not. We can definitely see the elegant look the Duchess of Sussex was trying to achieve here, but it didn't really work.

Princess Diana

In 1981, Princess Diana presented what is arguably the most iconic royal wedding dress of all time. With its puffed sleeves and wide skirts, it was vastly different from the traditional elegant wedding gowns worn by previous royal brides. Nothing like Diana's dress has been seen on a royal bride since. However, many people feel that the fairytale design of David and Elizabeth Emanuel's gown is not remembered with grace.

Princess Eugenie

Let's just say that Princess Eugenie's outfits back then were un... flattering at the time. This dress she wore in 2017 has a lot going on, between the design, the color palette and the pattern itself. It's a bold choice, no doubt but it doesn't flatter her figure at all.

Megan Markle

Another one of Meghan's least favorite looks is this green dress she wore to the Invictus Games in 2018. It's not the color, it's the dress itself. Unfortunately, the garment is not cut in a flattering way for her, and is rather boring. If it hadn't been so shapeless, it would have worked much better.

Princess Beatrice

This choice of Princess Beatrice was not only strange because of the bad color combination, but also because... does it show too much?

Princess Eugenie

Princess Eugenie's black dress was unimpressive, it seems to have been chosen at the last minute, and her dowdy and ungraceful appearance makes her look like an ordinary person. So what's the joke of being a royal?

Queen Elizabeth II

Queen Elizabeth II can never be left out of any fashion list, as she was known for her impeccable style. She never wore the same outfit twice and was rarely seen wearing the same color. The Queen was always extravagant and unafraid to experiment with her wardrobe,

Sometimes, despite having all the money, time, and image consultants in the world, royals fail in their attire.

Outfits that royals would never wear again

Despite having the assistance of expert stylists, the royal family has sometimes been criticized for their daring fashion choices.

Here are some of the most outrageous royal outfits that would never see the light of day again after being criticized.
