Sarah Ferguson married Prince Andrew in 1986, but, sadly, it was a royal love affair that was not to last. They split up ten years later, but Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie's parents have remained firm friends. They even live in the Royal Lodge in Windsor together!
It seems like Fergie and Prince Andrew mastered conscious uncoupling long before Gwyneth Paltrow ever coined the term. They revealed to Hello! that they, "support each other emotionally and health wise", adding that they and their children "sit down and communicate, the four of us" once a fortnight at least.
The Duchess of York paid a touching tribute to Prince Andrew on Twitter
Sarah still supports Prince Andrew whenever she can and it was touching to see her pay tribute to his work last weekend on Twitter. Andrew was away visiting China as a part of his work for Pitch@Palace, a platform for entrepreneurs to meet people who can help turn their business dreams into a reality, which he founded in 2014. Sarah captioned her post, which showed a series of photos of Prince Andrew at work, "So proud of @hrhthedukeofyork and the Pitch team in China. Congratulations to all of the entrepreneurs who took part".
The post was even liked by A-lister Catherine Zeta-Jones, with many royal fans praising her for supporting her ex-husband. One ultra-fan even wrote, "This is the royal wedding everyone wants to see again". We have to say, we wouldn't say no to another royal wedding!
