Quite a few strong women are standing behind Princess Kate. These stars are publicly supporting her!

In a video released by Princess Kate herself in mid-March, she announced the devastating news that she had been diagnosed with cancer. "This of course came as a huge shock," she said of the diagnosis, which came after her abdominal surgery. Kate is now undergoing treatment and is receiving support from fans worldwide. Some celebrities have also expressed their well-wishes for her recovery.

Hollywood star Jamie Lee Curtis posted words on Instagram even before Kate's video. In her post, she spoke out against the people who were spreading conspiracy theories about Princess Kate. "This is a human being with young children, and clearly some sort of a health issue. That is a private matter." Following Kate's announcement, Curtis added to her post, "And now Princess Kate has told us about her health and now we should send nothing but our best wishes to her and her family and focus on our own lives and the lives of people directly related to us, and the myriad life-threatening issues to our children that we can focus on."

Singer Halsey also condemned the people who have been wildly speculating about Kate recently. In her Instagram story, she wrote: "Hope the people and media who sensationalized a woman's desire for privacy following a known health incident are experiencing regret and remorse." Halsey goes on to explain that even celebrities and royals have the right to withdraw from the public eye when they are unwell.

One star who has expressed regret for a public treatment of Kate is Blake Lively. She recently posted a picture making fun of the royals' recent photoshop scandal - but without mentioning Kate directly. Nevertheless, Blake apologized in her Instagram story. "I made a silly post around the ‘photoshop fails’ frenzy, and oh man, that post has me mortified today. I’m sorry. Sending love and well wishes to all, always," she wrote.

Catherine Zeta-Jones herself has experience supporting a loved one who is suffering from cancer. Her husband Michael Douglas suffered from tongue cancer in the 2010s. Now Zeta-Jones is sending her support to Kate. "Wales and the World is with you HRH Princess of Wales. Love to you always," she posted in the comments of Kate's video.

Olivia Munn also spoke out after Princess Kate's diagnosis. Munn had only recently made her own battle with cancer public and had to undergo a double mastectomy due to the disease. Under the Princess' post on Instagram, Olivia wrote: "Thank you for showing what it’s like to fight with grace and determination for yourself and for your family. Wishing you all the best"

Shannen Doherty is also battling cancer. The actress has been suffering from the insidious disease for years. She was initially diagnosed with breast cancer, which she seemed to have beaten. But a few years later, the disease returned and even metastasized to her brain. Shannen made a post on Instagram expressing her support for Kate: "Princess Kate, I admire your strength through the endless onslaught you've been under while going through cancer." Shannen also takes the opportunity to clarify how important privacy is even for people in the public eye: "The onslaught of conspiracy theories, ownership, and plain, morbid curiosity forced this person to explain herself before she had come to terms with it and explained to her children,” she continued. “I pray this is a learning moment for us all to respect, privacy or others, regardless of being in the public eye."
