After the death of Queen Elizabeth II († 96) was announced on September 8th, the palace published where she is to be buried. The protocol stipulates burial should take place eleven days after the Queen's death.
The Queen's funeral will take place in Westminster Abbey
The Funeral of the Queen took place at Westminster Abbey on September 19th. Her marriage to Prince Philip († 99) took place there in 1947 and her coronation in 1953. The coffin is carried out of the church and taken by procession to Wellington Arch.
Her funeral will follow in St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle. As the Telegraph reports, she will find her final resting place there alongside her husband Prince Philip, with whom she was married for 73 years.

Prince Philip passed away on April 9, 2021, at the age of 99. In her final resting place, she is not only buried by her husband, but also by her parents, King George VI. († 56) and Queen Elizabeth († 101), and her sister, Princess Margaret († 71).
