The coronation of King Charles is on the horizon. For the King and the British people, the long-awaited date, May 5, is only a few months away.
To celebrate the occasion, the King is throwing a big party. They want to make it a special time but also to promote the importance of the Commonwealth.
King Charles' coronation playlist revealed!
The event will of course have music, which has been chosen by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport. They have picked 27 tracks.
The selected songs are fun British classics which everyone can sing along to – especially if you are older. The list includes:
- The Kinks: "Waterloo Sunset"
- David Bowie: "Let's Dance"
- Madness: "Our House"
- Kate Bush: "Running Up That Hill"
- Grace Jones: "Slave to the Rhythm"
- The Proclaimers: "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)"
- Spice Girls: "Say You'll Be There"
- Tom Jones: "Green Green Grass Of Home"
- Emeli Sande: "Starlight"
- George Ezra: "Dance All Over Me"
- Harry Styles: "Treat People With Kindness"
A representative said the musical playlist was chosen to "celebrate British and Commonwealth artists" ahead of the coronation.

In addition to the list, more details have emerged about the planned events, including seeing the family on the balcony of Buckingham Palace and a carriage ride.
However, in a break from tradition, the coronation will not feature a huge bonfire.
The coronation inside Westminster Abbey will be more diverse and won't last three hours either, as it typically had in the past.
