Sarah Ferguson wants Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie to know how proud of them she is as they begin a new chapter of their lives! The Duchess of York has addressed her daughters in a special letter featured in the October 2021 issue of lifestyle magazine Good Housekeeping, where she reflects on their journey into motherhood.

Sarah Ferguson says Beatrice and Eugenie are "incredible mothers"

Sarah Ferguson began the letter with a Martin Luther King Jr. quote before saying that Beatrice and Eugenie "made my life complete" when they first came into the world. She then reflected on the "strength, courage and steadfastness, integrity and goodness" she sees in her daughters as they enter motherhood, commenting on how they "embrace every challenge and moment."

The Duchess of York said she is "so proud" of Beatrice and Eugenie, and "couldn't be happier" for the lives they have gone on to build. She also shared her enjoyment when it comes to being a "young grandma," and called her daughters "incredible mothers". Eugenie gave birth to her and Jack Brooksbank's son August earlier this year, while Beatrice is expecting her first child with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi this fall and they share stepson Wolfie.

Sarah concluded her letter by sharing some anecdotes about her own grandparents— who she said she sees parts of in her daughters— as well as sharing some motherly advice. "When your children walk on their own journeys, please teach them to be authentic to themselves, like I taught you," the Duchess of York told Beatrice and Eugenie. She also encouraged the new moms to instil a love of nature, belief in magic, and sense of positivity within their offspring!
