- Sarah Ferguson has spoken out in favor of Princess Kate
- Fergie is also going through a cancer diagnosis herself
- THIS is what she says to Kate
Sarah has always been there for her. Her comment comes days after Kate, 42, revealed in a video statement that she was receiving cancer treatment following abdominal surgery this year. The duchess said raising awareness would do a "tremendous amount of good."
Sarah is confident for Kate
"I know she will be surrounded by the love of her family and everyone is praying for the best outcome," she said in an Instagram post.
"As someone who has faced their own battles with cancer in recent months, I am full of admiration for the way she has spoken publicly about her diagnosis and know it will do a tremendous amount of good to raise awareness.
Fergie knows a thing or two about cancer as well. The 64-year-old revealed in January that was diagnosed with malignant melanoma, a form of skin cancer, which was discovered following the removal of a cancerous mole during treatment for breast cancer.
She had several moles removed and analysed while having reconstructive surgery, and it was her second cancer diagnosis within six months.
Her comment comes days after King Charles III - who has been diagnosed with cancer himself - praised his daughter-in-law for speaking out about her cancer diagnosis, saying he was "so proud of Catherine for her courage."
