Meghan Markle is known for having a difficult relationship with both her father and her half-sister, Samantha Markle. After saying that her relationship with her family was distant, Samantha says it affected her sales regarding her book where she claimed to be close to Meghan.
Meghan Markle Sued By Her Half-Sister
Samantha had originally filed a lawsuit against Meghan in March, but it was rejected by a judge in Florida. Now, another lawsuit has been filed that is scheduled to take place in November 2024.
According to 'Express', Samantha seeks $75,000 in damages following Meghan's interview with Oprah Winfrey. Meghan's lawyer, Michael Klump, had previously stated:
“The case has failed because it runs head first up against defamation law and the First Amendment.”
