For the British Royal Family and all their supporters, the year 2022 was particularly sad. On Sept. 8, the monarch of the century Queen Elizabeth II died of old age at 96 years.
At the same time, she also celebrated her 70th anniversary on the throne in the summer of 2022. In the video above, you can see the beautiful last pictures of the Queen.
Queen Elizabeth was in good spirits in her final photos
In February, some official photos of Queen Elizabeth were published, showing her at work. At that time she seemed slightly more frail than usual, but still happy.
She was photographed with her walking stick from time to time, but the monarch usually appeared without the walking aid.

Then, on Sept. 8, the worldwide shock: The Queen passed away at the age of 96. A funeral followed, the scale of which surpassed the celebrations of the 70th anniversary on the throne.
