Life as a royal comes with many perks. When you're related to the British monarch, for example, it usually means you get an impressive palace or castle all to yourself.
Such is the case for Princess Anne, the only daughter of the now late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.
Princess Anne and her husband Timothy Laurence live on a fancy and secluded royal property in Gloucestershire, England. It's called Gatcombe Park.
Gatcombe Park: Princess Anne's nine-bedroom mansion!
The Princess Royal was gifted the home in 1976 a few years after her marriage to Mark Phillips, her first husband.
The Queen had purchased Gatcombe Park that year for a reportedly hefty sum of money. It's been in the British Royal Family ever since, and Anne and her second husband still live there today.
Previously, the country residence was home to wealthy figures like politicians and businessmen. It was originally constructed in the late 1700s.
