Royal experts Zoe Burrell and Angela Mollard discussed Princess Beatrice of York's wedding plans, which have been affected in the past weeks due to numerous causes.

Burrell said "Princess Beatrice must be the unluckiest princess in the world," making reference to the possible cancellation of her royal wedding due to the coronavirus pandemic.
COVID-19 and Prince Andrew's scandal have affected Beatrice's plans
Princess Beatrice was set to marry Edoardo Mapelli in May. While there hasn't been any official announcement that the royal wedding will be cancelled, rumours about it have been increasing. "At this stage, it is looking like they are going to postpone it until 2021 rather than go ahead with a very quick and short wedding," said Mollard.

Royal experts also talked about how Sarah Ferguson's daughter previously had to delay her wedding plans due to the scandal surrounding her father, Prince Andrew, in regards of his friendship with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Princess Beatrice's wedding plans might be affected in other ways. Mollard and Burrell also brought up the idea of Bea and Edo having children together.

They said Beatrice must feel "devastated that her plans are in disarray at this stage," since she might be wanting to make a transition into a new family life soon. Edoardo "already has a child, a young boy," they said, but Beatrice probably wants to have kids too.
