Great sadness among the Danish royals: Princess Ilona zu Schaumburg-Lippe has died. She was 83 years old.

Bereavement among Danish royals: Princess Ilona is dead
Prince Wilhelm zu Schaumburg-Lippe, the husband of the deceased Princess Ilona, published an obituary in the Danish newspaper 'Berlingske'.
It shows that Ilona died on December 30 and will be buried on Saturday in Glesborg, northeast of Aarhus.
Prince Wilhelm is the great-grandson of King Frederik VIII (†1912) and thus a cousin of Queen Margrethe of Denmark (83). Prince Wilhelm and Princess Ilona were regular guests at royal celebrations.
