The Queen has always been a pillar of strength for her country and is proving once again just how tough she is.

Queen Elizabeth's Puppy Passed Away

Back in March Her Majesty's son Prince Andrew gifted the Queen with two beautiful new Corgi puppies that brought her a lot of joy. She lovingly gave them the Scottish names Fergus and Muick in honour of her heritage.

Muick was named after Loch Muick on the Balmoral estate and Fergus, a dachshund and corgi mix, was named after Her Majesty's late uncle Fergus Bowes-Lyon. Tragically, Hello! has just reported that this is the very puppy that has passed away and she has been left "devastated" by the death.

A Buckingham Palace source told The Sun. "Everyone concerned is upset as this comes so soon after she lost her husband." Before last Christmas, she had also lost her loyal dog Vulcan who has been by her side since 2007.

Queen Elizabeth's Dogs

Queen Elizabeth II is well known for her passion of dogs, especially Corgis and Dorgis. Her Majesty still has two dogs by her side, Muick and Candi, but the loss will still be felt at Windsor.

Rest in peace, Fergus.
