- Princess Madeleine just accepted a new job
- The US-based royal is taking on a new patronage...
- But it's actually back in Sweden?!
Since 2018, Princess Madeleine has been living with her family in Florida, far away from the royal world of Sweden.
She rarely returns to her old home, and usually only for holidays or vacations. In the future, however, it could be that Madeleine flies to Sweden more often again.
Back in her homeland, she has taken over a new patronage.
More time in Sweden? Madeleine's surprising announcement
As Madeleine announced on Instagram: "It is with great pride and pleasure that I have accepted to become the patron of Millesgården - the museum of an artist's home, antique collection, and sculpture park on Lidingö outside Stockholm."
For her, Millesgården is a place of peace, "inspiration and joy," she writes. She likes to visit the estate when she is at home.
Also interesting:
With the message, the Princess posted a beautiful picture where you can see sculptures spouting water in a fountain, surrounded by parkland.
Royal fans are quite enthusiastic about the news. Many seem to know the place and feel the same way about it as Madeleine.
In light of this update, we'll have to see if there are more trips to Sweden in the future...
