Princess Eugenie has broken her Instagram silence for the first time since her father Prince Andrew was embroiled in the scandal with the late Jeffrey Epstein. Eugenie shared a sweet behind-the-scenes picture in honor of a special anniversary!

Until recently, there had been no new pictures on Princess Eugenie's Instagram account since mid-November. The Princess usually shared a new image from her life with the world every couple of days.

But she has kept quiet on social media since her father Prince Andrew embarrassed himself with a TV interview in which he addressed his involvement with the late Jeffrey Epstein and the scandal surrounding him.

Now, we get another glimpse into her life with a great behind-the-scenes-picture from Buckingham Palace, which is actually already two years old, but still really cute!

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank announced their engagement two years ago

Princess Eugenie posted the new picture to celebrate the two-year anniversary of her engagement to Jack Brooksbank. The snapshot shows her and Jack at Buckingham Palace on the day of their engagement photoshoot, and they are just beaming at the camera - what a great couple!

Eugenie captioned the picture as follows: "On this day two years ago...Jack and I announced we were engaged.."

Let's hope she can put the last couple of months behind her and look forward to a great 2020, and - of course- to her sister Princess Beatrice's wedding, which will be taking place this summer!
