We can count two more royals on the list of visitors to Balmoral Castle in 2020.
Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank were spotted at Balmoral on Wednesday, in photographs that circulated online. In the presumably unofficial pictures, Eugenie is seen in a green coat, while Jack wears a navy sweatshirt as they exit a vehicle on the grounds.
Eugenie and Jack visit Balmoral Castle and the Queen in 2020
Though it's purely speculation at this point, royal fans and a few outlets suggested that Eugenie could be pregnant based on the photos. The 30-year-old princess sports an unusually-puffy jacket in the pictures, as she also carries a wrapped gift upon arriving at Balmoral. That's the extent of what the rumour is going off of today.
Eugenie and Jack were married in 2018 and made their first visit as a married couple to Balmoral last year. Though, they've made the annual trip as a couple for several years now, and previously shared a photo of their 2016 visit.
Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip arrived at Balmoral in August
Since the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh made the trip to Balmoral on Aug. 4, their visitors had been limited to youngest son Prince Edward and his wife Sophie, Countess of Wessex and their children. Reports said the family made the trip early last week, and they've again been spotted in the new photos with Eugenie and Jack.
The Queen was also photographed last week taking her corgis for a walk on the estate grounds. Her Majesty's annual summer holiday was in jeopardy due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but she and Prince Philip made it to Aberdeenshire a few weeks later than usual — with new safety precautions implemented. Among changes to the annual Balmoral trip in 2020 is the need for visitors to social distance while spending time with Philip and the Queen.
