- Camilla has been Queen since 2022
- She masters her role with grace
- Princess Diana was right about one thing
In a year dominated by health concerns for the royals, Queen Camilla (77) has proven to be indispensable to the British royal family. She shoulders a large part of the workload and has her husband King Charles' (75) back.
What Lady Diana predicted about Camilla
Former BBC Royal correspondent Jennie Bond explains that Camilla is probably doing all the hard work for Charles. She tells 'OK!' "I think part of it is because she so much wants the man she loves to be proud of her, and to pull her weight in their partnership."
According to Jennie Bond, even Princess Diana (†36) had already foreseen this: "I think Diana was absolutely right to tell me that Camilla was 'loyal' and that Charles's love for Camilla was stronger than any marriage he might ever have made."
Camilla's new role has not only earned her the respect of her family, but her popularity among the population has also increased significantly. She used to be seen as a "marriage breaker" and "the other woman" and now today she is part of the royal family.
