Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella are having to celebrate their birthday without their mother, Princess Charlene. The 7-year-old Monagasque twins had to wait six months before their mother could hug them again, but now Charlene has left Monaco and is back in medical care.
Princess Charlene wishes twins happy birthday with cute photos
Princess Charlene's absence hasn't stopped her from warmly wishing her two darlings a happy birthday. The proud mum has posted photos of Jacques and Gabrielle on Instagram, in which the siblings are beaming with joy and sitting in front of a big birthday cake.
"Happy birthday my babies. Thank you God for blessing me with such wonderful children. I'm truly blessed. Love, mom," Charlene captioned the pictures, adding a red heart emoji. In the comments, Charlene's followers from all over the world sent birthday love to the twins, replying in many different languages.
While it's nice Charlene has shared these touching photos with all of us, it's sad that she couldn't be at the twins' birthday party herself. Prince Albert always tries to ensure that his children are still well and enjoying themselves even while away from their mother. Most recently, Jacques and Gabriella were seen having fun at the Christmas market without Charlene. Hopefully the princess can return to her family again soon!
