With Prince Andrew's link to Jeffrey Epstein, along with his catastrophic BBC interview on the concerning matter, it's no wonder Prince Andrew isn't attending as many public events these days. His daughter Beatrice actually cancelled a planned engagement party after her father's interview.

Princess Beatrice celebrates her engagement without Prince Andrew
On Wednesday night, Princess Beatrice and her soon-to-be husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, invited an array of guests, which included one of Beatrice's closest friends, Ellie Goulding, as well as Robert De Niro, James Blunt, Pippa Middleton and her brother, James Middleton.
Even her mother, Sarah Ferguson was seen at the event. While Prince Andrew and Ferguson divorced in 1996, the two released a joint statement in the Fall on their daughter's exciting new chapter:
"We are thrilled that Beatrice and Edoardo have got engaged, having watched their relationship develop with pride. We are the lucky parents of a wonderful daughter who has found her love and companion in a completely devoted friend and a loyal young man. We send them every good wish for a wonderful family future."
As of last month, it was announced that the Duke of York has stepped down form his royal duties amid his involvement with Jeffrey Epstein. He no longer has his office at Buckingham Palace, nor is apart of the many charitable patronages that come along with royal duties.
