Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip are a portrait of longevity. Besides the Queen's record-shattering reign, she and the Duke of Edinburgh celebrate their 73rd wedding anniversary on Nov. 20, 2020.
The royal couple has shared many picturesque moments over the years, as they both neared their centenary birthdays and had their platinum anniversary in 2017.
Though the couple of over seven decades is said to have had their ups and downs behind closed doors, there's been little looking back for the British monarch and royal consort since their wedding day.
Back on Nov. 20, 1947, the Lt. Philip Mountbatten married Princess Elizabeth, heir presumptive to the UK throne, at Westminster Abbey. Just a few years later, King George VI died, beginning the reign of Queen Elizabeth II on Feb. 6, 1952.
In this gallery, we'll look back at the best pictures of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip over their many years together, from their 1947 royal wedding to their lives today as nonagenarians. Enjoy!
