Princess Charlene has remained in South Africa for months after a severe ENT infection prevented her from traveling back to Monaco. But while her 6-year-old children Jacques and Gabriella may miss their mother, the latest Instagram post on the Palais Princier de Monaco's official page shows that they can still enjoy themselves.
Jacques and Gabriella seen in amusement park photos
Prince Albert and royal offspring are pictured spending time at in the Europa-Park theme park in Baden-Württemberg in a new photo slideshow. The children are shown to be having a lot of fun and taking photos with the amusement park's mascots. Albert's idea of distracting them from their mother's absence seems to have worked.
The otherwise somewhat shy Jacques really blossoms! In the pictures, Charlene and Albert's son can be seen trying his hand at juggling and balancing a couple of plastic plates. It's a shame that Charlene couldn't be there, as the princess has already missed out on some important moments for her children.
Prince Albert plans trip to Europe with twins
Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella will hopefully be back home in time to welcome their mother when she arrives. Charlene's return is getting closer, as Charlene's husband Prince Albert announced a few days ago that his wife will start her journey home "shortly."
The visit to Europa-Park is the prelude to a multi-day European tour that Prince Albert has planned with his children. The next stop is somewhat less fun, however, because Albert recently told People that he's taking the twins to the COP26 climate summit in Glasgow. Perhaps this is also why he gave them the freedom to enjoy their day out!
