Prince Charles officially returns to royal duty this Friday and he will open the new NHS Nightingale Hospital in London, which will provide intensive care for coronavirus patients. The Prince of Wales actually tested positive for the coronavirus himself in March and came out of self-isolation this week after seven days.

Prince Charles will attend the opening event via video-link from Birkhall to say a few words of thanks to those who have created the new medical facility in just a matter of weeks. Health Secretary Matt Hancock, who recently came out of isolation after recovering from COVID-19 as well, will actually attend the ceremony in person.

Nightingale Hospital, named after nursing pioneer Florence Nightingale, is located inside the ExCel centre in London, which was transformed into a hospital with 80 wards by NHS workers and 200 military personnel in a matter of weeks.
