In the middle of December, actress Keira Knightley (33) who is known for her starring roles in Love Actually, the Pirates of the Caribbean films and Pride and Prejudice among many others, was awarded the Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) award.
An Absolute Honor From Prince Charles Himself
She was awarded this honour by none other than Prince Charles himself for her contributions in drama and her charity work, according to People. Attending the ceremony at Buckingham Palace was her husband, James Righton and her parents. Keira beamed in a yellow tweed blazer and skirt from Chanel with a matching top hat to complete the look while accepting the honour.
Keira Knightley joins other British actors, musicians and celebrities such as Victoria Beckham, Eddie Redmayne and James Cordon who have also received the honour of OBE.
