It is no secret that Duchess Meghan (37) gets along well with Duchess Kate (36) and even Queen Elizabeth II (92). However, she is said to be even closer friends with another member of the royal family, Prince Harry's (34) father, Prince Charles (70).
Charles has been very supportive of Meghan
The friendship between the heir to the throne and Duchess Meghan had a promising start. When it became known that Meghan's father would not be able to attend her wedding, Prince Charles walked Duchess Meghan down the aisle at her fairytale wedding.
It is also rumoured that Meghan is responsible for having brought Prince Charles and Prince Harry closer again. According to an insider at Vanity Fair, the wedding was the turning point. "The wedding was a real turning point. Charles showed so much love towards Harry and Meghan, and I think Harry will be eternally grateful to his papa for stepping in and giving Meghan’s hand in marriage. The bond between them is very close."
