After her engagement was announced in September, the official date for the wedding of Princess Beatrice has recently been set for early June of 2020 - but who will be the one to escort her to the altar? Her father Prince Andrew is still reeling from the scandal that connects him with the late Jeffrey Epstein and as a result, he has stepped back from all his royal duties "for the foreseeable future".

But a source has told ET Canada that the Duke of York is still "utterly devoted" to his two daughters and that he wants to walk Beatrice down the aisle.

"They love him; he’s family," the source says and adds that both Beatrice and Eugenie are "very disappointed" in his behavior.

Furthermore, the source reveals that not all of the details for the upcoming wedding have been discussed and that more will be publicly announced at the start of the new year. The family apparently wants Beatrice to "have the wedding she deserves".

The source added: "Everyone right now is concerned about Bea. [...] Poor Bea. She deserves to have the wedding she wants and the public is going to go nuts [because of her father]."

We will see what the new year brings. There will definitely be another royal wedding, and we can't wait!
