Duchess Meghan's half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr. (52), was arrested for drunk driving last Friday. He was stopped by police in Oregon State in the early hours of Friday morning, who, after breathalysing him, arrested him and took him to Grants Pass Sobering Center, according to People magazine.

An arrest for drunk driving shouldn't worry Thomas Markle too much however, as he has already had bigger fish to fry when it comes to the long arm of the law. He held his girlfriend Darlene Blount, now his fiancée, at gunpoint whilst drunk back in January 2017. He was arrested for domestic violence following the incident, but the charges were dropped in February 2017. We have to admit, we do wonder what Darlene Blount sees in Thomas Markle. We certainly wouldn't be in any hurry to marry a man who has previously waved a gun in our face, but different strokes for different folks right (or not)?!
Duchess of Sussex Does Not Want A Relationship With Him
Thomas Markle has repeatedly moaned publicly in the past that the Duchess of Sussex does not want a relationship with him, but his recent actions really can't be helping his case.
Thomas Jr. plans to invite the Sussexes to his wedding though. Meghan's half-brother seems to have high hopes for his big day, stating in an interview with DailyMailTV, "I think our wedding will bring the family closer together". We can't claim to be as optimistic as Thomas is, but only time will tell.
