According to the Daily Mail, three of Prince Harry (34) and Duchess Meghan's (37) staff have resigned in the last six months. Private secretary Edward Lane Fox, his replacement Samantha Cohen and Meghan's assistant Melissa have all moved on to work elsewhere.
Duchess Meghan's assistant quits after just a few months
Private secretary Samantha Cohen worked for the Royal Family for seventeen years and has been praised numerous times for her loyalty to the family and her sense of duty. She also worked closely with Queen Elizabeth II for two decades.
She was given the task of looking after Duchess Meghan's affairs, but has now resigned after just six months. Meghan's personal assistant Melissa has now also resigned, just as long-term royal staff member Edward Lane Fox did, who left just after Harry and Meghan's wedding in May 2018.
While we are, of course, not sure why there seems to be a mass staff exodus taking place, it would seem that not only have Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan broken countless royal rules, but, according to biographer Robert Jobson, Prince Harry had a short fuse in the run-up to the royal wedding and was not very patient with his staff.
