King Charles graces the cover of 'Big Issue'
As the clock ticks towards his 75th birthday, King Charles (74) is making headlines, not just for his milestone birthday but for a noble cause close to his heart. The King is the face on the 'Big Issue' cover, a move tied to the launch of the Coronation Food Project.
World-renowned photographer John Waddell Rankin, aka Rankin, captured the King's image in the lush gardens of Clarence House, the main residence of King Charles and Queen Camilla (73) in London. Rankin, who once famously photographed Queen Elizabeth for her Golden Jubilee, expressed his honour at documenting "the world’s most famous face," he said at the time.
Rankin revealed his admiration for King Charles' resilience and determination, adding that he was honoured to shoot the cover specifically for the 'Big Issue' in collaboration with the Coronation Food Project.
