• The British royals are known for their traditions and rules
  • King Charles III follows some rituals of his own
  • His bizarre habits were revealed by ex-royal employees

King Charles III has some strange rituals – and we're going to tell you all about them.

In the documentary Serving The Royals: Inside The Firm, Princess Diana's former butler, Paul Burrell, revealed some of Charles's unusual ways.

King Charles is particular about... just about everything

For example, the son of Queen Elizabeth II is said to have instructed one of his employees to squeeze toothpaste onto his toothbrush every morning.

Also, his pyjamas would be ironed every morning and his shoelaces also flattened with an iron. When bathing, the water temperature should be at most lukewarm, and the bath plug must always be in a certain position.

The King's eating habits are also somewhat unusual, the butler said. Charles skips lunch because it would interrupt his work. As a result, many of the royal employees must also skip lunch along with him, he said.

For breakfast, according to the former royal chef, Darren McGrady, King Charles III always asks for two plums in his bowl, but he only ever eats one of them.

Would you have thought that the King would display such diva-like behaviour?...
