The Norwegian royal family only meant to thank followers for their birthday greetings to Prince Haakon's 50th birthday. However, one of the snapshots in the post raises some questions.
Among the family photos is a picture showing King Haakon with dad Harald (86) and daughter Ingrid Alexandra (19).
Does Princess Ingrid Alexandra have a tattoo?
The young princess, who is on a sports holiday with her family, is wearing short cycling shorts and a sleeveless top. On her left upper arm, a spot becomes visible that looks suspiciously like a tattoo.
Ingrid Alexandra would not be the first in her family to go under the tattoo needle, her half-brother Marius already has several works of art on his body.
Whether it is actually a tattoo, fans discuss in the comments. Some of them think that the skin discolouration could be sports tape or just a temporary tattoo.
The royal family has so far neither confirmed nor denied the speculations. At the age of 19, Ingrid Alexandra would now be old enough to get a tattoo without parental permission.
