Duchess Meghan's (37) father Thomas Markle (74) is optimistic that he will see his daughter again soon. Meghan will be visiting family and friends in the United States soon and, according to one of his friends, Thomas thinks that this will be the perfect opportunity to be reunited with his daughter and Prince Harry (33), the Sunday Express reports.
Thomas Markle would like to apologize to his daughter
"First of all, he would like to apologize to both of them personally for his statements and actions. After that he just wants to hold his daughter in his arms and tell her how proud he is of her and how much he loves her," Thomas's friend revealed.
Although he had previously believed that Meghan would probably never want to see her father again, Thomas Markle now hopes that his daughter will get in touch with him after all. "He just wants to tell her how much he loves her and wants to break down the wall of silence between them."
"In his opinion, it's his last chance to straighten things out and get back in touch with his daughter. He is now 74 years old and wants to spend his last years happily," continued Thomas's close friend.
Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry could soon visit America
Up to now nothing has been confirmed, but according to the Express, Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry could travel to America as early as this October. According to rumours, the two will be meeting various friends, including Oprah Winfrey (64) and Serena Williams (36), whilst in the States, but will also be paying Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland (61), a visit.
