Prince Philip's cause of death

Prince Philip had to undergo heart surgery weeks before his death, at 99 years old, however, neither his heart disease nor the operation are said to have contributed to his death.

Both Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth II died of old age, peacefully, in their homes. Prince Philip passed away in Windsor Castle, while Elizabeth died in Balmoral Castle.
