Another 150 people joined the President in a grand dinner, where Charles decided to make a toast in honor of his late mother and father.

The Queen's visits to France

The Queen visited France for the first time when she was still a Princess and had only recently married Prince Philip. They were received with a feast and French wine.

And when she visited again after becoming Queen, she tried to return the favor by hosting a meal for the then President of France, however, according to Charles, "they ran into a little more difficulty."
