Duchess Meghan (37) flew to the Big Apple last week to attend a baby shower thrown by her close friends and organised by tennis pro Serena Williams! The shower was a lavish affair with a star-studded guest list, which included Amal Clooney, Priyanka Chopra (36) and Abigail Spencer (37) and took place at The Mark Hotel in New York. The event is rumoured to have cost more than half a million Dollars and was held in a $75,000-a-night penthouse suite at the hotel.
Flowers from Meghan's Baby Shower Donated to Ronald Mc Donald House Charities
A flower arranging class was given for guests attending the shower, and a variety of blooms from the Upper East Side florist Lady Fleur were used to create beautiful displays. The entire array of displays was donated to charity Repeat Roses, an organisation that uses flowers from corporate events or weddings to brighten up hospices, cancer treatment centres and homeless shelters. The flowers from Meghan's baby shower went to several charities, including to paediatric cancer patients at the Ronald McDonald House Charities in New York.
While collecting the flowers from The Mark, Repeat Roses took to Instagram to share the amazing displays and also to give fans a glimpse of the penthouse where Meghan's baby shower took place.
